Sustainability

As a manufacturer of chemical products and preparations, we are in constant dialogue with industry and trade associations. In this way we ensure that we are always up to date with regard to the application and interpretation of the REACH regulation.

As from 1. June 2007 the EU-Regulation related to the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (EG) No. 1907/2006 (REACH-Regulation) became a law. The abbreviation REACH stands for registration, evaluation, authorisation and restriction of chemicals, that means

  • Registration
  • Evaluation
  • Authorization
  • Restriction

of chemicals.

As an EU-Regulation, REACH is equally and directly valid in all the member states. REACH harmonises and essentially simplifies the European Chemical Law.

Producers or Importers producing more than 1 tonne of materials as such and/or materials in compounds in the European Union per year or importing them into the European Union, fall within the scope of REACH.

As producer of chemical products and compounds we are in  a constant dialogue with industrial and trade associations. Thus we safeguard that we constantly are state of the art related to the application and construction of the REACH-Regulation.

We closely collaborate with our customers and suppliers to safeguard the legal requirements.
